Dream River
When You Finally Step into the River
When you finally step
into the currents
of your own river,
everything flows.
The rapids and undercurrents
have tumbled me,
like a rolling stone
washed smooth by the riverbed —
shaped into something meaningful
by a power so endless,
so soft and strong,
rushing and still.
And when you are ready to surrender, to wade into the wide, waiting river — where the water no longer fights you, but flows gently around your limbs —
you may awaken to a softness within you never knew you carried.
And suddenly, it is not the world that changes. It is you. Fluid. Alive.
Home.
from where the rivers bend and the soul returns
